Hollywood Actor Sir Sean Connery Passed Away, James Bond is No More
Legendary actor Sean Connery, who ruled the hearts of people by playing James Bond in the first film of the James Bond series, died at the age of 90. In his five-decade career, he acted in many famous movies.
According to the BBC, the actor living in the Bahamas died while sleeping at night. He was ill for some time. In his career spanning five decades, Connery appeared in many acclaimed and mainstream commercial films such as 'The Hunt for Red October', 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade'.
Connery was born on August 25, 1930. His father worked in a factory and his mother used to do household cleaning. He gave up studies at the age of 13 and started joining milk, polishing coffins, and laying bricks without any formal education before enlisting in the Royal Navy, but only three years later he suffered from stomach blisters. Was thrown out of service.
He initially earned a living by driving trucks, working as a Coast Guard, and modeling at the Edinburgh College of Art. He also used to do 'bodybuilding' work in his spare time. In 1956, he first starred in the BBC-produced "Rakeem for a Heavy Weight". Shortly thereafter, she made her debut with 'No Road Back'. He then appeared in films like 'Hell Drivers', 'Action of the Tiger' and 'Time Lock'.
He had major success in his career when Connery was selected to play James Bond after an interview with producers Albert Broccoli and Harry Saltzman. By that time, however, he was relatively less well known as an actor. His charismatic performance won the hearts of critics and viewers and is still considered the most loved James Bond.
He first played the role of James Bond in 'No' in 1962. He then went on to win from Russia with Love (1963), 'Goldfinger' (1964), 'Thunderball' (1965), 'You Only Live Twice' (1967), 'Diamonds Are Forever' (1971), and 'Never Say Never Worked in Again '(1983). Connery received an Oscar award for Brian De Palma's 1987 film 'The Untouchables'.
